technical difficulties

Greetings I want to apologize for the delay in post my computer has been having connection issues, any way we are still on track. I am currently making my home made Granola that I love, it is so convenient for a quick filling breakfast or a snack to add to your greek yogurt. High in fiber and protein maybe I can take a pic of the recipe  and post it.
1200 cal  diet has been a little challenge especially when your on the move you definitely have to spend a whole day planning your menus for the week and if you are anything like me you may not have a taste for that particular choice or a family thing comes up or a meeting goes to long or its flat out to hot to cook, hey ISH happens. So try to have a back up plan there are many restaurant  with low cal options notice I didn't say fast food take the extra time call in an order at a restaurant, you can find  menus on your smart phone.

Ok ! On to my most exciting part I started YOGA! ( in my Oprah yell) and you talk about challenge? I did Bikram which is in a Hot 90 degree room. The teacher was very motivating, it kicked my tail but when it was over I had so much energy. Look it up maybe try a class many people don't get in to the heat and the positions are quite challenging but hey you will never know til you try but I promise you ,you will sweat an ocean, which is good for metabolism and detox.

My workout schedule is as follows:
Monday & Wednesday- The gym from 8-9 am  30 min cardio 30 weights lower body 9:30-11 Yoga
Tuesday & thursday - 6-7am spin 7-8am upper body weights 8:30-10 Hike
(Tuesday 6pm-8pm baseball practice)
Friday 5k run approximately 45-50 min 8am
Saturday break
Sunday light workout of my choice

Now please keep in mind I didn't just get started I have been working out 5 to 6 days a week for over a year and it has been gradual to get to this point. So if you are a beginner just find what you enjoy most and do that I love to lift weights and I love hiking. I started out doing maybe a an hour in the gym that combined cardio and weights and I slowly increased, but I made myself increase. I didn't stay at the same level on a machine more than two weeks if I did 20min on the elliptical the first week then I did 25 min the next week and every week increased I never spend more that 40min with a 5 min cool down for that time you can go on a nice hiking trail and take in the beautiful sights. ok I think this is enough for to day I guess I'm making up for the day I missed . til next time. peace health and happiness.
